Your data is collected in part by you providing it to us (e.g. in an order form). Other data is collected automatically or with your consent when you visit the website by our IT systems. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page access).

3. Data Processor
The association uses Auryx AI LLC as a data processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR for the operation of technical infrastructure (content engine, automation, hosting).
A data processing agreement (DPA) between the association and Auryx AI LLC governs the GDPR-compliant processing.

5. Data Collection on This Website
Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address.
This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in technical provision).
Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies. We only use technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the site (e.g. shopping cart, session). Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
6. Orders and Payment Processing
When you order from us, we collect the following data: name, email address, delivery address, billing address and order details. This data is required for contract fulfilment (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
Payment processing is carried out by Stripe, Inc. (354 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA). We do not receive complete payment data from Stripe (e.g. credit card numbers). Stripe processes your payment data in accordance with their privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
7. Data in the Context of the Field Studies
The association conducts scientific field studies to research how AI-generated content influences the sales of regional specialities in international markets. The research additionally encompasses: AI-powered real-time translation systems in field trials, physical performance and metabolic markers under long-term mobile conditions, and documentation of the AI landscape in Europe.
As part of these studies, purchase data and any survey results are anonymised and evaluated in aggregate form. No personal data is published in study reports. The evaluation is based exclusively on aggregated, non-traceable metrics (e.g. total revenue, number of orders, average order value per market, platform attribution).
Legal basis: Legitimate interest of the association in carrying out its statutory research activities (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, § 2 para. 4–5 of the association statutes). For optional surveys (post-purchase survey), we obtain your explicit consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).
You may object to the use of your anonymised purchase data for research purposes at any time by contacting us via email.
8. Disclosure to Third Parties
Your data is passed on to our fulfilment partners (producers) to the extent necessary for contract fulfilment (delivery). This includes: name, delivery address and order details.
In addition, data is shared with the data processor Auryx AI LLC (see Section 3) for technical processing.
Beyond this, no disclosure to third parties takes place unless we are legally obliged to do so.
9. Data Storage and Deletion Concept
Order data is stored for the duration of the statutory retention periods (7 years pursuant to § 132 BAO — Austrian Federal Fiscal Code).
Data of prospective customers (e.g. newsletter, contact form) is deleted after 2 years of inactivity.
Data of study participants (optional surveys) is fully anonymised after completion of the study.
After expiry of the respective retention periods, personal data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
10. SSL/TLS Encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://".
