Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed through the online shop of Austria Imperial — Green Gold. By placing an order, you enter into a purchase contract with the association Austria Imperial Green Gold — Association for the Research of AI-Powered Marketing of Regional Specialities, represented by the board (hereinafter referred to as "Provider").

The GTC apply in the version valid at the time of the order. Deviating terms of the customer are not recognised unless the Provider expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

The association pursues charitable purposes. Product sales serve the implementation of scientific field studies on the impact of AI-generated content on the sales of regional specialities, as well as the research of AI translation systems, performance and health parameters, and the AI landscape in Europe (ancillary purpose privilege pursuant to § 1 para. 2 VerG).

§ 2 Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.

By clicking the order button, you place a binding order for the goods contained in the shopping cart. Confirmation of receipt of the order is sent immediately after submission by email (order confirmation).

The purchase contract is concluded when the goods are handed over to the shipping service provider.

§ 3 Prices and Shipping Costs

All stated prices are final prices and include the statutory value added tax where applicable. In addition, shipping costs apply, which are clearly displayed before completing the order.

§ 4 Payment

Payment is processed through the payment service provider Stripe. The following payment methods are available: credit card (Visa, Mastercard), SEPA direct debit and other payment methods offered by Stripe.

The invoice amount is charged upon receipt of the order.

§ 5 Delivery

Delivery is made directly by our producers to the delivery address specified by the customer. For orders with products from different producers, delivery may be made in multiple packages.

The delivery time is usually 3–7 business days within the EU. For deliveries outside the EU, longer delivery times and additional customs duties may apply.

§ 6 Retention of Title

The delivered goods remain the property of the association until the purchase price has been paid in full.

§ 7 Warranty

The statutory warranty rights under Austrian Civil Code (ABGB) and Consumer Protection Act (KSchG) apply. Food products are excluded from exchange, provided they were delivered without defects and as described.

Please inspect the goods immediately upon delivery for recognisable defects. We accept complaints by email.

§ 8 Liability

The association is liable for damages only in cases of intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, the association is only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations. Liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

§ 9 Right of Withdrawal

Consumers are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal pursuant to the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG) and the Consumer Protection Act (KSchG). Please refer to our cancellation policy for details.

§ 10 Applicable Law

The law of the Republic of Austria applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers within the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected.

§ 11 Final Provisions

Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
